patti-smith-bob-dylan-nobelListening to Patti Smith’s  performance, which seemed to me a prayer, at the Nobel awards ceremony, I teared up for the sweetness and strength, the  disappointments and successes, the childhood and future of my own darling young ones — both blue and brown-eyed — and for yours also. Amen.
